The VespaCatch Select represents the  next generation of our famous trap, the VespaCatch Original, known by beekeepers for its effectiveness against Vespa velutina, the Yellow-legged hornet.

With a commitment to protectiong biodiversity, we innovated to create an improved version of this trap, offering you to trap Yellow-legged hornets while preserving other species. Moreover, if you need to trap new hornet species in the future (such as Vespa orientalis), your VespaCatch Select trap will be ready! Its adjustable dial allows you to adapt the size of the entrance holes, accommodating all hornets species. You can also adjust the diameter depending on whether you want to trap foundress hornets or workers.

VespaCatch Select  has 4 key features  ensuring its selectivity:

• Adjustable hole size:  from 7 to 11 mm (0.27 to 0.43 in.) The adjustable dial allows you to select  the desired hole size for the entrance of the trap. You have the choice between 5 hole sizes, depending on the type of hornet you want to trap.
• Anti-drowning filter This filter ensures the protection of bees and other non-targeted insects, preventing them from drowning in the liquid attractant.
• Conical filter It acts as a barrier, preventing hornets from f nding the way out once captured.
• Exit holes This device allows non-targeted insects to escape while retaining the hornets.

We recommend the use of the Véto-pharma trap, even if it is not mandatory to use our attractive solution. On the other hand, the quantities and conditions of use mentioned correspond to the use with the Véto-pharma trap. Traps containing the attractant should be placed in places out of reach of the public and children.
